(yes, large text ^_^)

So, as you can tell by the time of year, school is almost out! But what comes with freedom, also comes year-end torture;
Yep- Im talking about PAT (Provicial Achievement Test) exams! Now for all you who don't live in Canada, these exams are HUGE- possibly the biggest tests of the year! and these 'special' exams, you get at grades 3, 6, 9, and 12... bluggghluhgluhhhgglll >.< And these tests (at least for us) count for about 10% of your final grade for each core subject:
- Social Studies / History (same thing i think :P)
- Math
- Science
and
- Language Arts / English (again, same thing)

Now, There's 5 exams in total- 2 of them for English class. one of them is a writing one, where we write one business letter on specified situation, and one essay or narrative on specified topic or issue. Then, there's the reading comprehension exam (uggh!), where you mainly read a bunch or stories and poems and crap like that, then as you read each one, you get five (or so) questions to answer on how you interpreted it.

Anyways, Tomorrow we have our first exam... Wish me luck!

On the plus side; Classes end at noon until thje end of wednesday (last day of school), then we have all day the next day with our ninth grade classmates and we'll be spending it at Calaway Park, folloowed by a dinner at Moxies to celebrate going into high school!
